Pubs play an important role in communities across Bridgend & Porthcawl. Whether they’re hosting local events, raising money for charity, supporting grassroots sports teams or simply providing a welcoming place for people to come together, many go above and beyond every day.

I’m inviting local residents to help choose the pub I’ll nominate for the Community Pub Hero Awards 2026. If there’s a pub you believe deserves recognition for its contribution to the local community, I’d love to hear from you!

I’m looking for nominations for pubs within the Bridgend & Porthcawl constituency only. This includes places such as Bridgend, Porthcawl, Coity, Broadlands, Brackla, Cefn Glas, Laleston, Bryntirion, Pen-y-Fai, Pencoed, Coychurch, Bryncethin, Brynmenyn, Sarn, Tondu, Aberkenfig, Newcastle, Oldcastle, Merthyr Mawr and surrounding communities.
