Please find below a copy of my September Report that details my work in the Constituency and in Westminster during the past month.
In Westminster I have challenged Ministers on issues such as the need for further clarity on future DFT funding for the Pencoed Level Crossing to the Government’s callous decision to end the £20 uplift to Universal Credit. I have also been part of a delegation with my work as a member of the CPA-UK to Belfast to a conference on ‘post-pandemic’ parliaments. In the constituency, Huw Irranca-Davies MS and I have continued to work constructively with First Cymru to try and improve the frequency of bus services in the constituency. In Evanstown, it was fantastic to see first-hand the transformation of the welfare park thanks to the hard work and determination of the Gilfach Goch Rugby Football Club (GGRFC) during the past two years.
