Funding Advice Day 2025
Chris Elmore MP for Bridgend & Porthcawl is excited to kick off 2025 with an event designed to help local organisations unlock their potential. The Funding Advice Day will take place on Friday 7th March 2025, at Brackla Community Centre, CF31 2SR, from 10 am to 12 pm. This event offers a fantastic opportunity for charities, schools, sports clubs, and community organisations to discover funding opportunities that could transform their projects and initiatives.
Having seen the success of previous Funding Advice Days in his former Ogmore constituency, Chris is delighted to bring this impactful event to the new Bridgend & Porthcawl constituency for the first time. Over the years, these advice days have enabled organisations to secure hundreds of thousands of pounds in funding, supporting everything from vital community services to exciting new ventures.
This year, Chris is teaming up with Sarah Murphy MS, Member of the Senedd for Bridgend & Porthcawl and Huw Irranca Davies MS, Member of the Senedd for Ogmore to deliver an event featuring some of the most prominent funding bodies. Attendees will have the chance to meet representatives from organisations such as National Lottery Heritage Fund. Arts Council of Wales, BAVO, National Lottery Community Fund, and Employability Bridgend, with more funders to be announced soon.
The Funding Advice Day is an invaluable opportunity for anyone seeking support for new projects, ongoing activities, or simply looking to learn more about available funding options. Funders are eager to connect with local groups and provide practical guidance tailored to their needs.
Updates about the event, including new funder announcements, will be shared on Chris Elmore’s social media channels and website. Constituents can follow him on Facebook by searching Chris Elmore MP or you can click here.
