Chris Elmore, MP recently visited the new Banking Hub on John Street in Porthcawl. During his visit, he had the chance to meet with Jonathan Brenchley (Head of Corporate Relations for Barclays: Wales & Northern Ireland) to see first-hand the extensive services on offer at the Hub.
The new Banking Hub provides a convenient counter service for customers of all major banks, allowing them to carry out regular cash transactions from Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. The Hub also offers a Community Banker service, which gives customers the opportunity to discuss more complex financial matters on a 1-1 basis with their respective banks.
Chris expressed his enthusiasm for the new Banking Hub, emphasising the convenience and accessibility it is already providing to residents. He commended the initiative as a step towards offering enhanced banking services to the community, making it easier for constituents to manage their financial needs.
Chris Elmore MP said: “As a long-time champion for access to cash, it was fantastic to see up close the range of valuable services on offer at the new Banking Hub for our community. With many bank branches having closed their doors in recent years, banking hubs such as the one on John Street ensure residents can access vital day-to-day financial services.”
The new Banking Hub is located at 77 John Street, Porthcawl and provides a welcoming and efficient environment for customers to carry out their financial transactions.
