Chris Elmore, MP for Ogmore, and Huw Irranca-Davies, MS for Ogmore, have teamed up with Bridgend Foodbank and Llanharan Pantry to collect Easter Eggs so that everyone can enjoy Easter this year.
Easter eggs can be dropped off at either Huw Irranca-Davies MS office – located at:
Unit 2
112-113 Commercial Street
Maesteg
CF34 9DL
Or Chris Elmore MP’s office – located at:
44A Penybont Road,
Pencoed,
Bridgend
CF35 5RA
Donations will be gratefully accepted until Thursday 23 March 2023 at 4.30pm.
It doesn’t need to be a large Easter Egg, a bag of mini-eggs or Cadbury’s Cream Eggs will be much welcomed. The aim of this donation is to ensure that as many children in Ogmore as possible get to enjoy an Easter chocolate treat.
Chris Elmore, MP for Ogmore, said:
“Times are tough right now for many. The cost of living crisis has hit families pockets hard with mortgage costs rocketing and the price of the weekly shop never ceasing to increase. That’s why Huw and I have teamed up with our excellent local Bridgend Foodbank and Llanharan Pantry to ensure as many children as possible get to enjoy an Easter treat this April.
“The towns and villages that make up Ogmore have shown that in the hardest of times we join together to help those in need. We have already received a fantastic response already and we’re really looking forward to seeing even more of your generosity.
To make life easier for people, you can either donate Easter eggs at my office in Pencoed or Huw’s in Maesteg. Let’s make sure that as many children in Ogmore as possible can enjoy Easter this April!”
