Chris Elmore, MP for Ogmore, is encouraging local clubs, community groups and organisations to come along to this year’s annual Funding Advice Day to find out more about the funding options available.

Now in its 5th year, this is the first time the event has been held in person since 2020, so is a fantastic opportunity to talk to local funding providers face to face and ask any questions.  This year the event will be held at the brand-new STEAM academy at Bridgend College (Pencoed Campus) from 10am-12pm on Friday 25th February.

A wide range of funding providers and experts will be attending the event, from Sport Wales, to the Lottery Heritage and Community Fund, to Wales Co-operative Centre and many more.

This event is being organised in conjunction with Huw Irranca-Davies MS.

Anyone who is interested in attending can register for free at chris.elmore.mp@parliament.uk or contact the office on 01656 860 034 for more information.

Chris Elmore, MP for Ogmore, said:

“During the last two years, local community groups and organisations have done so much to support the most vulnerable in our communities, but as costs rise they are struggling to make ends meet.

It’s really important that groups and clubs in Ogmore are aware of all the funding opportunities available to them.  They don’t need to face tough times alone as there are lots of funding providers who are ready to help.

I’d encourage anyone who is part of a club or group in Ogmore currently looking for funding to come along to Funding Advice Day on Friday 25th February to find out more.”
